The Two-Day Community Carnival “Kai Tak Get Set Go 2026” Successfully Concluded at Kai Tak Sports Park

The Asia Penny Farthing Association was honoured to be invited by the organiser for the second consecutive year to host a two-day Penny Farthing Cycling Trial activity. And the large-scale community carnival “Kai Tak Get Set Go 2026” was successfully held at Kai Tak Sports Park.

On the opening day, our association was invited to attend the Opening Ceremony, where we were commended for our continuous support of the event. Our Founding President, Dr. April Fong, received a Certificate of Appreciation from Kai Tak Sports Park, and they took a group photo to mark the occasion. Our association was also interviewed by local media on the same day.

Throughout the event, our booth attracted an endless stream of visitors. Our coaches patiently guided participants in learning Penny Farthing riding techniques, providing them with a valuable hands-on experience. Meanwhile, our committee members actively introduced the association’s upcoming plans and participation in the International Penny Farthing Championships, further promoting public interest and awareness of this historic sport.
