Penny Farthings Steal the Spotlight at Sports Expo with Non‑Stop Trial Ride Queues

The Hong Kong Outdoor and Sports Expo 2025, held in conjunction with the Asia Indoor Sports Festival from November 21 to 23 at the Hong Kong Convention Centre, concluded with remarkable success

Among the wide array of showcases and interactive experiences, the Asia Penny Farthing Association (APFA) captured the spotlight with its distinctive display of high-wheel bicycles. The organiser’s media production team visited the APFA booth for an exclusive interview, documenting the unique spirit of this timeless cycling tradition. Over the 3-day event, APFA also presented a live experience zone along the designated cycling track, inviting visitors and members to ride and even test their skills on the tallest 55-inch high-wheel bicycle !!

The atmosphere was electric, as countless enthusiasts, media guests, and sports celebrities stopped by to snap photos and share in the excitement — bringing both nostalgic charm and fresh vitality to the enduring heritage of penny farthing cycling.
