Dr. April Fong established the Asia Penny Farthing Association in June 2024 in Hong Kong. She is also the founder of Kakato Premium Pet Food and has dedicated her career to advocating for a healthy eating lifestyle for cats and dogs. Her commitment extends to launching and supporting numerous animal welfare projects. Additionally, she is passionate about sports and embraces challenges, harnessing her positive spirit to inspire others to courageously take on new trials and surpass their limitations.

Danial Bolwell

Mr. Bolwell is a prominent 28-time medalist in penny farthing racing competitions. With over 20 years of experience in handcrafting penny farthing  for clients across 20 countries, his deep passion for penny farthing  drives him to actively participate in and promote various competitions and related activities. Through his enthusiasm and joy for riding, he inspires others to discover the fun and charm of this unique cycling experience.

Simon Weir

Mr. Simon Weir is the 2024 National Penny Farthing Champion from Tasmania, Australia. Originally from Canberra, he proudly represented Australia at the 2018 Triathlon World Championships . A passionate cycling enthusiast, Simon has established his own mobile bicycle studio, dedicated to promoting the elegance and unique experiences that penny farthings offer. He aims to cultivate a greater appreciation for this classic mode of transport in Asia, encouraging more people to embrace its charm and rich history.

Mr. Wong, the Chairman of Exhibition Group Co. Ltd., is an entrepreneur recognized for hosting the largest number of public exhibitions in Hong Kong’s exhibition industry. With over 20 years of experience, he brings a fresh perspective to sports events in Hong Kong through his vision, creativity, determination, and execution skills. His initiatives, such as the "Extra-Curricular Activity Festival" and the "Hong Kong Outdoor Products and Sports Expo," exemplify his commitment to promoting sports.

Ms. Cheng is a cheerful and vibrant individual who has loved swimming since childhood. With a yearning for the countryside, sunshine, she also enjoys badminton and tennis as her essential leisure activities. After her first encounter with penny farthings, she became captivated by their unique charm. Through the Asia Penny Farthing Association, she aims to inspire more people to appreciate the allure and joy that riding penny farthings can bring.
